What is the NDIS Early Intervention Program for Children?
At NDIS Superhero, we believe every child deserves the best start in life. That’s why we help families understand the Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) program, part of the NDIS, designed for children under 7 with disability or developmental delay.
What is the ECEI Program?
The ECEI program supports young children so they can fully take part in everyday activities like learning, playing, and socialising. Through this program, families can access:
- Early supports to promote development
- Therapy services (like speech or occupational therapy)
- Assistive technology
- Advice and guidance for parents and carers
Your child doesn’t need a formal diagnosis to get ECEI support—eligibility is based on their needs.
The NDIS website also offers more detail and includes List D, which outlines some of the disabilities supported under ECEI. But remember—eligibility is always assessed on individual needs, not labels.
NDIS Superhero is Here to Help
At NDIS Superhero, we guide parents and carers on how to include ECEI supports in their NDIS plans, making sure children get the help they need to thrive.
