At NDIS Superhero, we stay on top of the latest NDIS pricing updates so you don’t have to. The long-awaited 2024-25 Annual Pricing Review (APR) has landed—and while it brings some changes, the full Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits (PAPL) document is still to come. Here’s what we know so far.
Who Gets a Price Increase?
✔ Disability Support Worker (DSW) Supports
Price caps for core supports (and some capacity-building supports like Psychosocial Recovery Coaching and Level 1 Support Coordination) will rise by 3.5%, matching Fair Work’s wage increase, plus a 0.5% superannuation bump.
✔ Nursing & Some Non-DSW Supports
Prices for nursing and other non-DSW supports will increase slightly based on the Wage Price Index and Consumer Price Index. But these changes do not apply to Therapy, Plan Management, or Support Coordination.
✔ Psychology
A new national rate of $232.99 per hour replaces state-based pricing. While this means a small rise for NSW, QLD, and VIC, it’s a cut for WA, SA, NT, and TAS.
Who Missed Out?
❌ Plan Managers & Support Coordinators (like us at NDIS Superhero!)
No price increase again this year—plus the removal of the remote loading and plan setup fee. A single national rate now applies to Plan Management services, regardless of location. At NDIS Superhero, we remain committed to providing exceptional service despite these funding challenges.
❌ Therapies (Physio, Dietetics, Podiatry)
Some therapy caps have been reduced by $5–$10/hour, with further cuts for providers in WA, SA, NT, and TAS as jurisdictional loadings are removed.
Other Changes to Watch:
- Therapy billing is now in 10-minute blocks—to improve flexibility and pricing transparency.
- Provider travel claims capped at 50% of the hourly rate.
- A new 3-year pricing work plan is coming, aimed at clearer and earlier pricing reform communication.
We’re keeping a close eye on the full PAPL release—expected soon—and will help you understand what it means for your NDIS plan and budget. At NDIS Superhero, our priority is protecting your funding and ensuring you get the best value from your plan.
